The joy of going commando

It will surprise no one to hear that I love going commando.  I go without knickers whether I’m wearing trousers, skirts or dresses.  In fact, when I went for the interview for this job I wore a suit; a dark navy blue pencil skirt suit. Under the jacket I wore a white polo neck jumper.  I didn’t have a bra on but I’d planned on keeping the jacket fastened, which I did.  So no one will have known.

Under the skirt I wore sheer black hold-ups and went without knickers.  The skirt was knee length and the style of it meant that there was pretty much zero chance of any drama so I knew I’d be OK.

Even though the skirt is fully lined and I knew there was no chance anyone would be any the wiser, I wanted to go without underwear for my own reasons.  As is the case with going braless, I usually feel more dressed up and smarter when I leave my knickers off.  Whatever the reason, and I find it very difficult to explain, it just makes me feel better.

Sometimes, I like to leave the house with knickers on and then take them off during the day.  May be while I'm in the car park before I get out of the car or in the loo when I get to wherever I'm going.  The act of taking my knickers off during the day while I'm out is really very enjoyable and I do it quite often.

Going commando is at its best for me when I wear something that I think people might just be able to tell, but leave enough ambiguity for them not to be 100% sure.

To try to explain this, I was at a wedding some years ago when I saw a woman wearing a really nice white dress.  I could see that she was wearing a bra but there was no sign of her knickers.  Obviously, although I was pretty sure she wasn't wearing any, I couldn't be 100% certain.  Until the early evening when she came back in to the marquee for the evening function.  She was wearing the same dress but now I could clearly see that she was wearing a thong.  I loved the fact that it confirmed that she hadn't been wearing any during the day.

Since then, I've often tried to do the same thing and in fact I have some dresses that, when I'm going commando I’ll specifically wear a bra.  I think this will let people see that the dress shows my underwear because they can see my bra and therefore, if I was wearing knickers they’d be able to see them too.  On occasion, just like the woman at the wedding, I’ll put knickers on half way through the day in the hope that I confirm the suspicions of those who have noticed me.  Sometimes, and the evening of a wedding is a good example of when I have done so, I might take my bra off.

Over time, I’ll try to relate some of these occasions here in my blog.  The first one I’ll write about will be the wedding I refer to above when I removed my bra for the evening part of the wedding.

I’ll do my best to make it interesting.  Please keep reading.

  2. I have discovered this blog fairly recently and I love it. I particularly enjoy your detailed explanations of how you subtly try to show people that you are without undergarments, without always making it obvious. The story of the wedding is a good idea, I look forward to that very much.
