Just got in from work and I've seldom been so pleased to get changed. The leather top was completely the wrong top to wear for work. Not so much to do with the fact that when I’d been wearing it for a few hours it looked like a sort of spray-on latex top - I think it must have been my body heat that caused it to meld itself to my body. Not even that I felt that I needed to keep my jacket on all day because it just looked wrong in work. The main reason it was a mistake is that it was so uncomfortable to wear for a long time - hot and sticky. It would have been better if the inside of the leather part was lined.
Also, the people in the office must have thought it was strange, me sitting in my jacket all day. I was tempted to go out a lunchtime to buy something else, but put up with it in the end.
It will probably be OK on a night out, but sitting at a desk all day it’s not so good and I won’t be wearing it for work again.
