Wednesday 19th March - I took my tights off in the car

I was going to the Trafford Centre on the way home today and had arranged to leave work early today (2.30pm) and so I’d parked the car in a pay and display in one of the little roads off Gt. Ancotes Street which is a bit near to the office than normal so I could make a quick getaway. In the end, I changed my mind about the Trafford Centre but still left work early.

Today I've been wearing one of my short, stretchy skirts with black opaque tights (without knickers) and my DM’s with a white shirt and a black v-neck jumper. Just as I got in the car my phone rang and I ended up sitting with the engine running talking for 10 minutes or so; long enough for the car to warm up a bit.

There were a few people about, with the occasional person using the car park as a cut through, but other than a bloke talking on his phone in a car opposite it was quiet ish and I decided I’d take my tights off for the drive home.

It was a bit of a struggle to get my shoes off because I got a knot in one of the laces, but managed it in the end. Then, after a quick check to see there wasn't anyone (other than the bloke in the car) too close, I wriggled my skirt up, hooked my thumbs in the waistband of my tights and pushed them off my hips and down over my legs. I had a bit of a struggle with the steering wheel getting in the way, but had them off in probably about 20 seconds; may be less. The effort of getting my shoes back on sitting in the car was too much and I had to step out to get them fasted.

The skirt certainly felt short without my tights on and sitting in the car it was very short leaving no more than a couple of inches between me and getting myself locked up!

It was quite nice driving home in such a short skirt without underwear with my legs out for once and I feel it was worth the struggle, if only to give me something to write about in the blog.
